Translate a recorded clip for another audience

AI Dubbing creates a spoken translation of a video file. Use it when you want to publish your own clip in another language. It processes uploads rather than translating a live feed or fetching a TikTok URL.

How to dub a TikTok video

  1. Upload an authorized original file. Use MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 200 MiB and 10 minutes. Existing watermarks or on-screen text are not removed or translated.
  2. Choose the target language and preview. The source language is detected automatically. Listen to up to 30 seconds free before using credits for a full dub.
  3. Generate the full dub and review. Check slang, product names and jokes; edit sentences that need correction. Only edited sentences are regenerated.
  4. Download and publish yourself. Get the dubbed video, mixed audio, voice-only audio, and separate source/target SRT/VTT files. The video includes rendered target subtitles; no caption styling or automatic posting is offered.

What carries over

  • Vertical format. The source aspect ratio is preserved: a 9:16 upload stays 9:16.
  • Background sound. Speech is separated and the translated voice is mixed over the separated background. Artifacts can remain; check the result before posting.
  • Your voice. Optional cloning needs your consent, a single identified speaker and at least 10 seconds of usable sample speech. Multiple speakers or insufficient speech fall back to stock voices.
  • Timing. Adaptation attempts to fit speech to the source timeline. Short or overlapping lines need review; exact beat matching and lip sync are not promised.

Languages and other recordings

The 13 target languages are English, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Modern Standard Arabic, Dutch, Polish and Hungarian.

For a Spanish clip, see the Spanish to English video translator. For recordings without a picture, use the audio translator or Spanish to English audio translator.

Pricing and permissions

Check the credit quote before generating the full video; see pricing.

Upload only recordings you own or have permission to use, including the voices, music and images. AI transcription, translation and pronunciation can contain mistakes; review the result before publishing. See the terms. This tool processes recorded files, not live conversations.

Frequently asked questions

How do I translate a TikTok video?

Upload a video file you own or have permission to translate. Choose the target language, preview, generate the full dub, review the script and download. This tool does not import TikTok links or publish to your account.

Can I post the dubbed video back to TikTok?

Yes, if you have the rights to publish it. Download the video file and upload it yourself. The export keeps the source aspect ratio, so a vertical 9:16 upload stays vertical.

Can I add translated captions too?

Yes. The video download includes rendered target-language subtitles. Separate source-language and target-language SRT/VTT files are also available for further editing; caption styling controls are not provided here.

Can I translate someone else's TikTok?

Yes, only with permission to use the video, voices, music and images. Reposting in another language still requires those rights; a public video is not automatically yours to reuse.

How long does it take?

Processing time is not guaranteed. Start with a free preview of up to 30 seconds, then choose whether to generate the full video.
