New language. Same subtitle timeline.

A subtitle translator changes the text in an existing SRT or VTT file while keeping each cue’s start and end time. Upload subtitles directly, choose your target languages and review the quote. No video upload is needed.

Subtitle file requirements

LimitSupported value
InputPlain-cue UTF-8 SRT or VTT
File size and durationUp to 2 MiB and 60 minutes
CuesUp to 1,000 ordered, non-overlapping cues; at most 4,000 characters each
OutputSRT and VTT for each successful target language

Cue times stay fixed; cues are not merged or split. SRT cue numbers are preserved. VTT identifiers stay in VTT; conversion to SRT assigns numeric cue numbers where needed. Subtitle markup is treated as literal text; styling blocks, regions and cue settings are not supported.

Review names, specialist terms, reading speed and line breaks in your player or editor. Upload only subtitles you own or have permission to translate. This mode does not transcribe speech, synthesize a voice or burn captions into video. See pricing and the terms.

Work with your source

Begin with the captions you already have

Upload plain-cue UTF-8 SRT or VTT. The server validates timestamps, order and file limits before showing the quote. Styling blocks, regions, overlapping cues and cue settings are not supported.

Keep every cue on its timeline

Translation keeps cue start and end times and does not merge or split cues. Review reading speed, line breaks and specialist terms because translated text can change length.

Download subtitles for each language

Each successful target language has SRT and VTT downloads. Review the translated text in the workspace, then check it in your own player or editor. This mode does not synthesize speech or render video.
